“People may fail many times, but they become
failure only when they begin to blame someone else” - Anonymous
The more you continue blaming someone for your
mistakes, achieving success in such an effort is very difficult. Blaming
someone for your mistakes is a sign of mediocrity and failure. It is easier to
blame others for your situation but more productive to search your past and
find what cause your faults. John Burroughs supported my view on this saying “A
man can fail many times, but he isn't a failure until he begins to blame
somebody else.” Listen to what Douglas Coupland has to say on this “Blame is
just a lazy person's way of making sense of chaos.”
We all do at one time or another, we claim to be
the one when things are going on right but find every possible means of passing
the blame to someone when things does not bring out our desire outcome. Robert
Anthony believes “When you blame others, you give up your power to change.” Could
that be true? Of course it is. There is gain in finding a fault; it’s just a
waste of time that could be productive. Invest your time, don’t waste it. A
minute spend in finding solution is much better than an hour in finding fault.
The reason why success is rare is because majority
hide behind finding blame, they are too proud to accept their fault. “Almost all unhappiness in life comes from the tendency to
blame someone else” says Brain Tracy. According to Napoleon Hill “You cannot become a power in your community nor achieve
enduring success in any worthy undertaking until you become big enough to blame
yourself for your own mistakes and reverses.” If you are ready to receive all the glory, you have
to stop blaming someone when things go wrong.
