Achieving Set Goals Leads To Greatness

By On June 26, 2018
“Every single life only becomes great when the individual sets upon a goal or goals which they really believe in, which they can really commit themselves to, which they can put their whole heart and soul into”. - Brian Tracy
“Every single life only becomes great when the individual sets upon a goal or goals which they really believe in, which they can really commit themselves to, which they can put their whole heart and soul into”. - Brian Tracy

Within each and every one of us, we want to be great. Unfortunately 95% of those who desire greatness are just wandering around thinking they are going somewhere. “The trouble with not having a goal is that you can spend your life running up and down the field and never score” - Bill Copeland. That is exactly what I mean; your brilliance cannot earn you success in an examination without written the answers down. What is the only thing you would do if you know you will not fail? then go ahead and do it. Whatever you believe in, find a way to start doing it, you either become great doing it or it will lead you to where you will become great. “All who have accomplished great things have had a great aim, have fixed their gaze on a goal which was high, one which sometimes seemed impossible.” Says Orison Swett Marden.

We have heard it times without number that, those who set goals achieve more than those who do not, while those who sets goals and write it down achieve much more than those who set goals but failed to write it down. Writing your goals down and where you will always see it and read it to yourself is a sign of commitment. It differentiates between those who actually have a dream of achieving something specific and those who only wish to. In a nutshell “Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal or ideal.” - Earl Nightingale.

Life is only meaningful when you set out to achieve something that is dear to your heart. The more goals you commit yourself to achieve, the more you will discover many meaningful things and many things you consider meaningful that is meaningless. That is wisdom. And we all need it to become great. However, Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success.” - Pablo Picasso.

Success is in Problem Solving

By On June 12, 2018
"Life is a one Way Street, no matter how many detours you take, none of them leads back. And once you know and accept that, life becomes much simpler” - Isabel Moore

Every problem bring with it solution or potential solution. There are many times we are not aware we have the solution until problem surface. Have ever thought or notice that. Sincerely speaking, I have come to realize that problem brings out the best in every one of us. There is nothing so great than being known to be a solution provider, the world achievers are nothing but people who love solving problems. Let’s look at what the great Albert Einstein have to say on this “If I had an hour to solve a problem I'd spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.” The reason I think is because solution reside within the problem.

“Problems are meant to be solved, but unfortunately, a lot of people choose to complain, worry, and cry about them” says Edmond Mbiaka. Problems love those who hate her but hate those who love her. In reality, the more you try to avoid problems, the closer it is to you and the more you have many of it. Susan Del Gatto reveals “If you choose to not deal with an issue, then you give up your right of control over the issue and it will select the path of least resistance.” According to Joey Lawsin “The opposite of a problem would likely be the correct solution.”

Someone said, “I have not met someone great that has an easy past,” I can’t agree less. The more problem you solve, the greater you become. I am sure you know that “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them” - Albert Einstein. In the world today, money seems to the first yardstick to measure success. Could that be, even if it is Manoj Arora advised “Do not focus on money, instead focus on a problem that needs to be solved for the world. Money will follow you as a bi-product.” Next time never say; why me? Instead ask why not me? Then follow by what is the way out
