Anger: That Destructive Moment

By On July 11, 2018

“Be patient and calm-for no one can catch fish in anger” – Herbert Hoover”

Anger is a choice and it has nothing to offer you than distraction and destruction. You cannot achieve any remarkable rather regrettable result when you are angry. “For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind” says Ralph Waldo Emerson. Why paying so much for goods you are not ready to receive? Why loosing so much if there is no expectation of gain? Be aware, your anger is never a friend. If anyone praise you for an action you take out of anger, such person is your enemy.

“Speak when you are angry - and you'll make the best speech you'll ever regret.” - Laurence J. Peter. Anger is inevitable, but you have choice what to do with it. According to Stephen Hawking, “People won't have time for you if you are always angry or complaining”, and I believe that, I don’t know about you. I want the best people around me; so, I can’t afford to go angry all the time. Moreover “To be angry is to revenge the faults of others on ourselves” - Alexander Pope. Why will I ever choose that when I know that “Getting angry doesn't solve anything” as thought by Grace Kelly.

It could be funny when I told you anger could be the best solution sometimes. Before you crucify me, let’s share other intellectual thoughts on this matter. Evan Rachel Wood says “The biggest lessons I've learned in life have probably come from a bad situation, from an angry situation, even if I wasn't the one who was angry.” Can you make sense out of that; I think I am a testimony. Another point is that, if you want to go angry, do for the best. Sometimes, you have to get angry to get things done” - Ang Lee. Yes, if you go angry about a situation then go ahead and find solution to it, then better. But if otherwise “When angry count to ten before you speak, If very angry, count to one hundred” advised Thomas Jefferson. Always remember, “Being angry is like picking up a knife with no handle: it is self-harming, - Koo Stark.

Success is in Problem Solving

By On June 12, 2018
"Life is a one Way Street, no matter how many detours you take, none of them leads back. And once you know and accept that, life becomes much simpler” - Isabel Moore

Every problem bring with it solution or potential solution. There are many times we are not aware we have the solution until problem surface. Have ever thought or notice that. Sincerely speaking, I have come to realize that problem brings out the best in every one of us. There is nothing so great than being known to be a solution provider, the world achievers are nothing but people who love solving problems. Let’s look at what the great Albert Einstein have to say on this “If I had an hour to solve a problem I'd spend 55 minutes thinking about the problem and 5 minutes thinking about solutions.” The reason I think is because solution reside within the problem.

“Problems are meant to be solved, but unfortunately, a lot of people choose to complain, worry, and cry about them” says Edmond Mbiaka. Problems love those who hate her but hate those who love her. In reality, the more you try to avoid problems, the closer it is to you and the more you have many of it. Susan Del Gatto reveals “If you choose to not deal with an issue, then you give up your right of control over the issue and it will select the path of least resistance.” According to Joey Lawsin “The opposite of a problem would likely be the correct solution.”

Someone said, “I have not met someone great that has an easy past,” I can’t agree less. The more problem you solve, the greater you become. I am sure you know that “We cannot solve our problems with the same level of thinking that created them” - Albert Einstein. In the world today, money seems to the first yardstick to measure success. Could that be, even if it is Manoj Arora advised “Do not focus on money, instead focus on a problem that needs to be solved for the world. Money will follow you as a bi-product.” Next time never say; why me? Instead ask why not me? Then follow by what is the way out
