“Only
those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly.” - Robert
F. Kennedy
We can avoid many mistakes by reading
and learning, but the truth is that great achievement is under the foot of failure.
We all have heard about the 10,000 times effort of Thomas A. Edison to invent
the light bulb which he never regard as failure relating to thought Coco Chanel
that “Success is most often achieved by those who don't know that failure is
inevitable.” Thomas Edison comment on this “I have not failed. I've just
found 10,000 ways that won't work.”
"Failure isn't fatal, but failure
to change might be" - John Wooden. Yes! If you are doing the same thing,
over and over again expecting different result, you are trekking the path to
failure. Let failure be your best teacher. An attempt failed is a lesson in disguised;
never waste such a precious resources. Ken Robinson believes “If you're not
prepared to be wrong, you'll never come up with anything original.”
There are many people you want to
emulate just because they never fail, but if you study closely you will
realised they never make any attempt to become great or to achieve something
great. “If you don’t try at anything, you can’t fail…it takes back bone to lead
the life you want” - Richard Yates. Believe it or not, "Everything
you want is on the other side of fear" says Jack Canfield. If the reason
you have never try is because of fear of failure, you have already failed.
Never give up, a failed attempt is never final, it’s a temporary detour, not
the final result. According to Gena Showalter, “Giving up is the only sure way
to fail.” Unfortunately in many occasion, people who give up only give up the
gain not the failure, because, they are always close to their desire before
giving up.
