“Success seems to be connected with action,
successful men keep moving. They make mistakes, but they don’t quit.”
-Corrad Helton
We all do at
one time or another when our outcome is not up to or below desired result or
when our huge effort is not positively correlated with the outcome achieved. Believe
me, no one ever say it’s going to be easy, if that is your expectation, it is
better never to start. Maria V. Snyder, said. “I never said it would be easy. Giving up is easy.” No! That is not meant to scare you, but to
prepare your mind. That narrows down the pain of any temporary failure and
reduces your thought of quitting. “Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.” ―
Lance Armstrong.
The great American
basketball player and businessman, Michael Jeffrey Jordan observed, “If you
quit ONCE it becomes a habit. Never quit!!!” Believe it or not, it is a reality.
John A.
Passaro knew Michael Jeffrey Jordan (MJ) better when he says “Just
imagine what would have happened if Michael Jordan quit after getting cut from
his High School Basketball team?” Imagine what and where you would have being
if you have quit trying to survive or succeed for years. We all have some past
story of quitting that we did not that become a success story, always think
about that. Norman Vincent Peale advised
you say to yourself whenever you are in such situation “It's always too soon to
quit!”
“Quitting is
the easiest thing to do.” – Robert Kiyosaki, I think he meant it is the trait
of lazy people. Listen to what Toni Sorenson has to say on
this “The secret is not following the right path, it's following that right
path to the end. Don't quit, my friend, until you've arrived.” “If you quit on
the process, you are quitting on the result.” ― Idowu Koyenikan. He also
said “At the end, someone or something always gives up. It is either you give
up and quit or the obstacle or failure gives up and makes way for your success
to come through.” There are times when quitting is not a failure; when you stop
to think about a better way to achieve the dream rather than being stubborn.
