"Fear is interest paid on debt you may
not owe” –
John C. Maxwell
Fear
is full part of our life, everyone experience fear in one area of their life.
One of the the major enemies to your greatness is fear. It is mostly caused by
our past experience, but most especially unknown outcome of event; thus, the
popularly statement “fear of unknown”. One thing I have experienced about fear
is that; it is generated out of negative thinking. Remember “negative thinking
is a mental hunger, feed it with the only food, positive thinking” – Balogun M.
Adewale. In other words ““Fears
are nothing more than a state of mind.” Says Napoleon Hill
In
reality about 95% of our fear will never come to pass. They are only generated
by our feeling and sometimes our past experience. Henry Ford from experience
share this about fear “One
of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find
he can do what he was afraid he couldn’t do.” The
only thing we have to fear when you are afraid to move on is fear itself” because
fear lead to failure while uncertainty could lead to success. “I
learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it.
The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that
fear.” — Nelson Mandela
Fear
has a good friend; procrastination, and procrastination is a well-known quality
of a loser. Postponing what you need to do today till tomorrow is a gradual
step towards failure, never good room for it. Dale Carnegie advised “Do the thing you fear to do and keep on doing it... that is
the quickest and surest way ever yet discovered to conquer fear.” Believe me,
if someone can do it and has done it before, you too can do it. Never let fear
steal your trophy.
