How Worthy is Your Lifestyle?

“A sound psychology with rich spiritual live will increase your moral value that will guarantee a worthy live. One easy way to achieve this is through reading and mentoring.” – Balogun M. Adewale

"The best way to hide something from Black people is to put it in a book." This is an excerpt from an article circulating the internet for almost two decades now presumed to be written by the radio personality, Dee Lee was titled, “Black Don’t Read: They are still our Slaves”. The truth is that, this is not only applicable to Africans, anyone who regard learning to be unimportant will live a slavery live.

“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies, said Jojen. The man who never reads lives only one.” - George R.R. Martin. Through reading many lives touches you, since we created with diverse and unique attributes, the only way you can see through other peoples point of view is to read and learn from what they wrote. The more you read, the more you have the opportunity to cross check and enrich your life. “Only the very weak-minded refuse to be influenced by literature and poetry” says Cassandra Clare. The reason is that, every author write based on his/her own view and others view related to his/her own. And to a large extent, every author is a reader, relating to the popularly saying “a reader is a leader” since such person would have been influenced by other great people of right perspective shared via learning materials.

“Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.” What a great thought by Joseph Addison. We all agreed that; to have a great and strong physical structure, a regular exercise is inevitable, so also to have a sound mental power, one need to read and learn regularly. Be scared of people who rarely read, because such people are in the darkness of their own world. Joseph Addison added “Reading is a basic tool in the living of a good life.” If you don’t find it easy to read, then be in the circle of those who do as advised by Will Rogers “Will Rogers “A man only learns in two ways, one by reading, and the other by association with smarter people.”
